SERLUPI CRESCENZI
Illustrious
roman family resident in Rome, which first news dates back to XIII cent. In 1661
Francesco Serlupi heir by the will of Sallustia Cerrini, wife of Ottaviano
Crescenzi and mother of Livia (Francesco's mother) the primogeniture of
Crescenzi's family. He had the right to to add to his name the name Crescenzi by
Urbano VIII. He continued, in this way the ancient Crescenzi lineage which first
news dates back to the beginning of IX century and in Xth
century had an enormous political power in Rome. In 965 a.C. the Bishop of Narni
that was a Crescenzi was elected Pope with the name of John XIII
